I’m unsure whether to go for round or teardrop implants? I’ve heard some horror stories about the anatomical (teardrops) flipping or turning but I want a natural look as possible. I’m getting mentor implants either under or partial, can round still look natural? I’ve also heard that sometimes the teardrop ones sometimes just look saggy :/ I’m going from a 32 A/B with 325cc. Hoping for a C cup but most likely to come out with a D x
Ahh that’s what I thought but I’ve seen a couple of people post on here that they’ve had the teardrops! I think I need to see my surgeon again haha I keep thinking of questions I should have asked him! I’ve told my PC and surgeon I want as natural as possible so I’m sure I’ll be fine. Think I’m just panicking now that I’ve got my date set! X
I think rounds will be ok for u hun especially if u stay away from high and extra high profile.. but of course teardrops are even more natural i would ignore what people say about them flipping sure there is a higher chance of it happening.. if u were unlucky and it happened sometimes the implant can be flipped back just by moving it.. i wouldnt make that ur main concern when it comes to choosing xx
It all depends on your body type, talk to your Dr hun, I broke all the rules and in terms of I had NO breast tissue and I got round, extra high profile and large amount of CCs and I still have a natural slope without a lot of roundness (unless I wear a oush up bra!) it’s more about your chest wall anatomy than anything else. Always good to bear in mind that teardrops do have the extra risk or rotation which would cause your breast to look distorted. Hope that helps! x
Can I add you please? I’m getting partials/unders so think I should be ok, hopefully will still look natural especially with Mentor implants π I’m gonna speak to my surgeon again and look at more before and after pics on here if possible, and on the mentor website π thanks for your advice! Xx
You can of course π x
Lots of girls on here go for round implants and look so natural Hun, I originally wanted teardrop but I’m glad I chose round I’m so happy with them xx
I have tear drops under the muscle, they are amazing!! I’m so glad I got them, look so natural and everyone can’t believe there fake.
Feel free to look at my pics x
I have had high profile round implants on top the muscle n think mine look natural, as I wanted the natural look =) x
Rachel Naunton can I add you too please hun> x
I don’t know which to get either too many decisions βΊοΈ
Aww I know I’m so bad at making decisions haha I’m gonna ring up on Monday to see if I can see my surgeon again cos he’s also recommended high profile but I think I’d feel more comfortable with mod+ :s he knows I want as natural as possible but I know he’ll have a better idea than me haha x
Hi Louise
I was recommended 310cc teardrop unders to take me from a 34A to a D cup. I’m 5ft 10, size 10 and very slim/athletic. I also wanted a very natural look and because of this and also cos I have v lil breast tissue I was told teardrops would be best for me and that rounds would look ‘stuck on’. π Like you though I’ve been worried about the risk of rotation with anatomicals :/ Have you made a decision on which to go with? xx
@ali01 hey I’m meeting my surgeon for the last time next Tuesday before my op the following Monday π think I’m going to go with round implants but I’m having them dual plane so partially under the muscle π mr Mounir said this should help give a natural look as the muscle will give a nice smooth, natural shape at the top of my boob as opposed to a stuck on look. My surgeon has said to go for high profile though but looking at other peoples results on different websites and Instagram, I think I’d feel more comfortable with moderate plus profile! They look more natural on results I’ve seen so far but I have seen some great results with high too. So I’m gonna see my surgeon as moderate plus have a larger diameter so might be too wide for my chest :/ just gonna see what he says next week but fingers crossed he’ll agree with what I think π xx
