Hi, I have my surgeon consultation booked for January and am very busy researching exactly what I want! I initially thought that I would want teardrop implant as I prefer that shape and I suppose that would be more like my natural shape. However, I can’t seem to find many examples of teardrop shaped implants to compare the results? I am looking for large implants- ideally like a 34f, but I don’t like the ‘fake’ round look. During the consultation will the surgeon go through what results to expect?
Has anyone had teardrop implants that wouldn’t mind sharing photos?
Also, after consultation how fast did you get booked in?
    Thank you 😊

Hey! I didn’t have teardrop but I had round implants. Originally I did have my heart set on teardrop implants for the ‘natural look’ but my surgeon actually recommended the round implants more as he said teardrop implants are known to rotate over a period of time. I was also worried about the round implants looking ‘stuck on’ and ‘fake’ but even though I’m 3 weeks post op I must say they do still look natural and I’m so happy with my results. Your surgeon will also go through sizes with you and recommend what he or she thinks is best as they have to take into account how much breast tissue you have and your age due to things like stretch marks, and also your build, weight, height etc.

    Thank you for replying 😊
You look great, they do look very natural! How are you healing? How much were you able to do after surgery- I am a bit worried as I have 2 small children and not sure how I’ll manage 😬
Do you mind me asking your measurements and what size implants you got?

    Hello!

I have my surgery date booked for Feb and wanted teardrop too. But the more I read the more round is pushed.

I’m healing okay thanks, the stitches dissolve so I’ve just got scarring which will eventually go, and do still feel tender here and there sometimes. After a week I was able to drive, wash myself independently with no help and dress myself and I was back to work within 2 weeks. The only thing is I can’t lift and I work with children, so picking up children is out of the equation at the moment. Mine was a standard boob job (no uplift or anything) so I healed much quicker than some people have. I weigh 9.5 stone and I’m 5’5 and I went for 350cc implants 🙂
