Round/teardrop implants

Hey girls had my first consultation yesterday!! So excited the journey has begun.
Do MYA do teardrop implants? As my PC only showed me the round?
Also does anyone know how much more they are??

Hi! so exciting isn’t it?! i’ve got my surgeon consultation this thursday 🙂 They do have the option for teardrop implants, but a lot of it is down to your surgeons preference, as a lot of them don’t like using the teardrop ones because they can flip round and you can create a really natural look using rounds too 🙂 So you’ll be able to discuss with your surgeon, i think they’re about £250-£300 more or something like that xx

I was originally having anatomical (teardrop) but changed by mind to round. If your having Dr Schiavone then he will discuss both with you. My surgery is Friday!

Miss V, how come you changed your mind from anatomical to round? Does Dr Schiavone definately do them then? Cant wait to discuss them both as im so undecided on which to go for! xx

i’m at the Leeds clinic, having the op at Preston First Trust 🙂 And i’ve got it booked for March 20th!! 2 months feels like ages away, but you’ve got to wait even longer! Hopefully it’ll all be worth it though xx

Lucky you! Yeah ive decided to wait till i finish uni in May, although temptation might get the better of me and i might end up booking sooner haha xx

Ahh i see! i’ve had to book mine around uni time off too so i have time to recover before having to go back, that week was literally the only one i could do it on, being sensible i suppose haha xx

Schiavone has recommded I have the anatomical shaped implant for a more natural look I’m paying £250 extra, although I’ve found that lots of the round shape implants look natural also x

360cc he has recommended I am booked I’m for 16th feb, I want to see if he will insert a higher cc when I speak to him at my next appointment but he did say I have little breast tissue and narrow chest so we will see! Might be the most he is willing to do. What size r u thinking about going? Xx

@missmorris92 what size will the 360cc take you to roughly? What size are you now? Can i add you as a friend please hun? Ive not seen him yet, going on the 2nd of feb, but im assuming i have little breast tissue aswell. Im a 32 A now, would like to be DD/E, the bigger the better but to look natural and not stuck on is what im hoping to achieve! This is why im considering the anatomicals, but will have to get his opinion and what he thinks is best xx

Make sure you look at lots of before and after pictures.
With before pictures try and find someone who has the same amount of breast tissue and shape, aswell as same height and weight. I am a 32big A/small B and I am having 295cc round moderate profile unders. It has a lot to do with profile to be honest aswell as amount of breast tissue. I should end up a D. Moderate profile are not as round but are wider. If you only have a small chest diameter but want to achieve a Dd/E he will probably suggest extra high profile. I saw him today for the last time before my surgery. My BA is Friday x

@emvi22 When will i be shown the before/after pictures? Thought i was meant to see in the first consultation but i wasnt and forgot to ask to see them. Will Dr Schiavone show me or my PC? Once I had my consultation with the surgeon and he had measured me up and put forward his recommendation, i asked to see examples so he showed me. What i would do though (and have become slightly obsessed with haha) go on google and put in ‘breast implants before and after’ one websitr (think its something like breastimplantsusa) you can select to see pictures which show before being a size A, and after being a size DD. have a look what you think. I’m pretty sure with your frame dr schiavone will recommend extra high profile due to the size u want but i’m no surgeon haha so just a guess. See if you can find pictures of extra high profile, and pictures of anatomical and round. Once i had examined a million before and after pictures, i saved the pictures i liked and ones where before pic was similiar to my stats, and showed him so he is clear of the look you want to achieve. Theres

He said 3 sizes bigger.. i’m a 32A so a 32D roughly, yeah add away 🙂 that’s exactly what i wanted to be a natural looking DD/E… at my next consulation i will ask if it’s possible to insert a higher cc, i have no pics as of yet but after my op i’ll post before and after pics xx

Miss Morris, Spoke to my PC today, she said anatomicals are an extra £541 ?! xx
