Hello ladies, as many of you know i have my BA booked for 23rd August! 😀 (yay, so exicted!)
We have friends over in Spain that we visit frequently, they own a bar and resturant so its ace cheap holiday, sunshine, alcohol, private pool the works ! 😀
Anyway this would be my first and only chance to get a real holiday, does anybody know the rules behind flying, swimming, tanning etc.
It will be about 7-8 weeks after my op and just wondered what the restrictions were!
I just would love to be able to enjoy my first family holiday around people i love feeling happy in my body for the rest time ever!
    Thanks in advance ladies!

In sure you can fly after just 2-3 weeks! But have to wait till 6 weeks to do everything else, they say to put sun screen on the scars under the swim suit/ bikini because of the sun rays or somthing 😀 it’s all very exciting! Good luck Xx

I was wondering this too, but more so the flying part, does flying have any risks? im worried about a blood clot or something having in my boobs!! xx

Apparently Stacey you are fine to fly two weeks after your op short haul with no problems! I’ve contacted my surgeon just for piece of mind who has also assured my ill be fine! Just been advised I definitely have travel instance which I do anyway just in the event I get an infection which is unlikely at eight weeks!!xxx

no sunbathing topless for at least a year short hull flights from 2 weeks long hull from 6 but they prefure all from 6 weeks. most people are fine to go swimming from 6 weeks but have ur 6 week checj up first and get the ok because not everyones insissions r sealed enough!

Thanks Tracey, I don’t intend to sun bathe topless anyway! I won’t be going for 8weeks post op so hoping all should be fine and healed by then!
I’m hoping I’ll be fine but if I’m not its not the end of the world if I can’t swim!
I’m so excited for my op now it can’t come quick enough!xxx
