Im just under 5 years PO, had my 2nd baby last year, boobs got huge! So the last 6 months ive noticed my left implant is very soft, i can feel it drooping, its started to ripple and also i can kind of push my nipple in and it doesnt pop back… Ive not had any pain or signs of lumps.. could it have ruptured? My right one hasnt changed (always had CC but back when i had surgery they didn’t do much about it apart from advise to massage it).

Why didn’t they do anything if u had cc? Surely they would know it gets worse over time, are you covered for revision still XX

My surgeon at the time said it might not be cc would have to see how it got on, tbf its not a huge problem, its always been noticeably harder than my left and the rippling is worse but you cant see it unless i bend forward but its not disfigured so its not been somthing id go back to have revision on, I think when i had them mya didnt offer to correct it free of charge. Ive checked and im actually just under 6 years po so dont think im covered for anything. My left one is really bothering me now though as its so obviously softer, and has really dropped, i can feel the implant if i cup under the breast and its obviously lost volume. My gp said its somthing they can look at and refer me to the hospital so think ill have to go down that route for now. From what ive read where ive had my 2nd baby my breast muscle has been stretched and hasn’t bounced back to the usual tighness so i recon the pocket may have got bigger and that could be the problem, if it is then ill put up with it untill i can pay for revision ???? Yes get your dr to arrange a scan to check it’s not ruptured (if it is they usually have lifetime warranty 10-20years depending on who you went with) you will be charged the surgery cost but not the implant, if they haven’t ruptured unfortunately you will have to find the cost xx
