Hi so I’m booked in for a ba with Dr Lutz in November and am getting a bit nervous because she said I didn’t need different size implants even though one is obviously bigger then the other (min 50cc difference i reckon) I’m worried that they’ll still look uneven after the op, has anyone had the same size in both boobs even with some assyemetry ?? Thanx xxx
I am 5 days post op and I had 430 cc in both breast, but before my left one was slightly smaller but surgeon told me that it’s smaller but wider a bit that’s why I don’t need two different sizes. After operation left one is still smaller but I have to be patient and wait for drop and fluff … 🙂
On my first (and second) consultations with my surgeon she did mention me needing different sizes. It wasn’t until the actual op when she started measuring and drawing on me that she said they were uneven. I ended up with 350 in one and 310 in another so the surgeon may say differently like mine did later on x
I meant to say she didn’t mention I needed different sizes! Lol
Thanx for replying Daria and Charlie, I guess really I need to trust the surgeon as they r they ones that know what their talking about it’s just the more I look at the pictures on here with most people getting different size the more I panic and think the difference will b empasised after the op
I have another consult with Dr Lutz in June so I’ll ask again but don’t wanna sound like I’m tellin her how to do the op hahah but I really think I need different sizes, do u know if u can request different sizes if they haven’t been offered to u? Xx
Hi hun. I’m currently having the exact same worry. I feel that I need different sizes. But the surgeon doesn’t seem so to agree. I was told that it might not be that they are different sizes just that the nipple might be out by a couple of mm. but agree seems the norm to have different size implants. So has made me really anxious about it. Xx
Hi Nicki I am so glad someone else has been told this I was starting to worry I misunderstood Lutz as she’s German I think and I felt rude sayin “could u repeat that” too many times ha ha I think she said something about having different sizes would make the difference more noticeable especially the nipples which I obvs don’t want but I also want the same sized boobs lol xx
The surgeon 100% knows best, I had such a slight asymmetry that I didn’t think I’d need different sizes at all, 25cc MAX, but I ended up having the left one 50cc smaller. I was so anxious as I thought it’d be so obvious and that he absolutely can’t be right but they do look good. I know how hard it can be to ignore your thoughts but just try trust the surgeon as at the end of the day they really know their stuff xxx
Thanx Maddie yeah I go through phases of thinking yeah she’s the surgeon she clearly knows best and then but wot if she’s wrong and if I don’t say anything I’ll b devastated lol
So did u not know b4 the op that the surgeon was using different sizes or did u get told at ur consultation? Xx
I was told they’d use 350cc for the left and 375cc for the right but when I woke up from my op and got given the implant card it said they’d used 325cc in the left and 375cc in the right, had a massive panic they’d done it wrong but spoke to the surgeon and he said he’d ordered both just in case and the 325cc matched the other better so he changed the plan in surgery. I was a bit shocked but I’m so happy with my results and glad he went for it xx
Hey, I’ve just had my op on 24th. My right boob has always been bigger , so I thought they would put different sizes in me but he just put 425cc in both of them, I have strapping and it doesn’t go across me in a straight line so the bigger one now feels even bigger. I’m hoping when it comes off they will be the same size
