Scar not in crease- help?

I’m 6 weeks post op and one of my scars isn’t in the crease it’s much higher up is that because they haven’t dropped yet or should I be worried?

I wouldn’t be worried. Your breasts still have a lot of dropping to do which is most likely why the scar isn’t in the correct place at the moment.

Hi Hun, I had this with one of mine, the scar was sitting slightly too high but at around 9 weeks it must have dropped more and now they both sit underneath. Sure they will be fine when they finish dropping xxx

Hey hun, neither of my scars are in my crease and one is slightly higher than the other. I think it probably sorts itself out eventually, but I did also read somewhere a while ago that not all surgeons make the incision directly in the crease and some do it just above so they’re less noticeable in bikinis, and the scars are protected from the sun when wearing a bikini etc. So I wouldn’t worry about it too much 🙂 xxx

I know it’s so easy to say don’t worry but not as easy to do! I’m constantly worrying about them, will be so glad when they’re all settled so I can chill out a bit! Haha xxx

I think they’ve dropped a bit (my left has definitely dropped more than my right), but think they probably have more dropping to do. And although they’re softer than they were they’re still quite firm! So think I’ve still got quite a lot of changes to go yet!! How are yours settling? Xxx

@serenevictoria I just noticed the other day my right has started to drop but the left hasn’t at all, to be honest I like having boobs like when they’re covered up but I think they look too fake 🙁 the whole point of getting teardrops was so that they looked natural and I really don’t like them haha xxx

My scars were above the crease for a while but they’re fine now. What cc did you get and did you get unders or overs? I’m 5 months post op now and mine have changed so much in shape and size! They were wonky for quite a while aswell I started to panic! You’re only 6 weeks in so don’t worry just yet they still have a lot of changing to do! Xx

That’s good to know, I got 255/295cc teardrop partial unders, I know I need to just be patient but it’s so hard when you just want them to look nice 🙁 I’m 8 weeks now but still a longggg way to go I know. One has only just started to drop and the other will hasn’t done anything! Xx

I’m only 11 days so mine are SO far away from the crease still!! My friend had hers done 3 years ago and her scar isn’t exactly in the crease, it’s kind of under her boobs which I think is better as you can’t see them when you’re looking straight on. The only way you’d see hers was if you were underneath her!
