Scar questions…

Hey girls!

So i took my plasters off today, the scars are healing lovely according to the nurse but they are very lumpy, is this normal? Also now the plasters are off the scar is in the crease and feels a little strange, is that normal? How long did u all keep ur plasters on? Mine are making my skin sore and red! Im 3 weeks 2 days post op..

@toria31 I had a check up with my nurse and I’m 2wpo and had my plasters taken off and my scars seem fine. Maybe ask and see about having them off permanently? Then start with gentle massage of the scars with some cream – the recommended Nivea or e45 for me! It does feel a massive relief once the plasters are off! Hope this helps and the irritation stops x
