Scar Update 22 days PO

I’ve just removed my steri strips to see all the scars for the first time as I didn’t look when the nurse did it for me! Really happy with that progress so far at just 3 weeks post op. Xxx

Oh Hun they look great!!!! You’re healing so well. I’ve got my three week appointment tomorrow and praying I can have my dressings off for good. When I went last week I had a tiny hole where my stitches had pushed out so I’m hoping it’s healed. How have you been feeling? Xx

Thanks Christie! I was so nervous taking the steri strips off! There’s a tiny gap at the top of one of my nipples which I’m going to keep an eye on but other than they are great. I’ve been feeling really good, I get the odd twinge now and again but feel pretty much back to normal apart from lifting heavy stuff , hoovering etc which I’m leaving to my partner haha. Let me know how you get on tomorrow Christie, I bet you can’t wait to be free from dressings, are you doing okay recovery wise? Xxxx

@samantha1992 thanks samantha, yeah im so pleased with the progress. I was expecting big thick red angry scars and i was scared to look at first! phew relieved. How are you doing, are you also post op? xx
