Scared about drains…

Hi girls, got my BA on the 18th April and I’m absolutely terrified about the drains!! I just don’t know what to expect and I know they are meant to be awful, just need reassuring a little bit, going into panic mode haha!!! thank you xxx

honestly nothing to worry about I didn’t even notice them till I went to the toilet haha! And did not feel a thing when they were being removed! 🙂 xx

I had them and they are nothing to worry about, removal is a weird sensation but it did not hurt x

I’m scared about this aswell! Lol how are they removed? X

they just pull them quickly from a tiny hole in the side of your boob, I didn’t even feel mine and was so shocked when the nurse told me it was done! x

I had these two. I knew about drains from reading on here and was not looking forward to them! I told the nurse how the forum hates drains and she was so shocked. She said they are not bad at all. It’s just a bit of a tuggin sensation I got and you feel like a snake is being removed but it’s not painful in the slightest just strange feeling xx

You really don’t have anything to worry about once you’ve had your op , getting the drains removed is the easy part …

Honestly they don’t hurt at all! I was expecting them to kill, but all in all they didn’t hurt one bit! It’s a bit of a funny feeling but that’s all!xx

I had no idea about the drains before my op so when i saw them when i woke up from it i was so worried about them being taken out and they feel 100x bigger then they actaully are. I looked at the hole they came from when removed and its so tiny. Honestly there fine!

Don’t worry too much about them I was like you but I didn’t end up having them xx

Oh thank god haha, my nurse did say to me that my surgeon doesn’t like to use them (Dr Mounir) but I was still worrying:( thanks for the reassurance girls xx

Seriously nothing to worry about, I was absolutely petrified! One of mine got a little stuck and even that wasn’t bad at all so don’t stress!xx
