So my surgery is a week away and I’ve stupidly been reading stories about been put to sleep and really scared myself!! 🙁
I know is rare that anything goes wrong but I can’t help but worry. Was anyone else like this? I even asked if it could be done IV sedation but unfortunately not xx

I’m probably just worrying over nothing but I always think the worst. I shouldn’t read horror stories ???? xx

Hi I was really worried too but it was a great experience at MYA. All the staff at the Hospital (preston) were lovely, you’re asleep in seconds and wake up with boobs! I didn’t have any pain. Honestly don’t worry, you’ll be fine xx

Thank you for the reassurance. It’s literally been the only thing that has stopped me from doing this before now! I’ve stupidly googled it and read some horror stories ????
The excitement is taking over a bit more now then been scared xx

Hey, I had my op 11 days ago and honestly being put to sleep is nothing, it’s so easy (I actually enjoyed it haha) one minute your chatting away to them then next thing your being woken up in recovery. It’s easy peasy, nothing to worry about! Good luck xx

Honestly one minute your talking to the nurses and bam you’re in recovery! Theres also a nurse who’s whole job is to just sit watching your monitors checking your not waking up or anything is going wrong so you’re in very safe hands:) xx
