scars, help girls!!!! please

im now 15 days po after having a BA. could anyone please tell me when i can start putting bio oil on my scars! or is there anything else that could be put on them, they are quite lumpy! x

the nurse told me not to use anything, prob 6 weeks x

Not sure, they seem fine at minute, I don’t rate bio oil I think it’s rubbish

I would recommened puting anything on them hun, my older sister didn’t use anything her scars look amazing. Also know someone who put it on one scar only and they both came out the same x

I used bio oil on my scars when I had my first BA 7 years ago, my sister didn’t use any when she had her BA last year and our scars don’t look any different, in fact if anything I’d say hers look better than mine. I don’t think bio oil is any use at all to be fair x

Ive been using palmers cocoa butter on mine since post op check :/ nurse said it was fine as long as i only do top so scars dont get any on. Now im worried tht i shouldnt be? X

Them silicone sheets sound good, I don’t think I’ll need to use anything, even our they are noticeable then I won’t be able to see them with them being under my breast when it’s dropping more

Dont put anything directly on the scars until you’ve seen the surgeon 6 weeks PO but you can put it on the rest of the boob. I’ve been using coca butter and bio oil just to get the skin hydrated so hopefully helps with it being stretched! I dont really rate bio oil personally but some people do! My scars feel a little lumpy still but getting better so maybe its still the disolvable stitching for us both? Sure they will look better and better 🙂 x
