Second thoughts on sizes

Hey. I’m really having second thoughts about the implant sizes I’ve chosen. 375cc (L) & 400cc (R). i just don’t think they’re going to be big enough for the look I want and I’m going to end up disappointed. Would I need another appointment with my surgeon to change my mind?

My PC is not replying to any of my messages, and my op is booked for the end of this month x

omg im in the same position, i have chosen those sizes too and my op is on friday! my surgeon said that another patient went in on the day and said to the nurse she wasnt sure on sizes and the nurse said you cant operate on her shes not sure…and he cancelled her op! so now im scared to even ask x

When do u find out which size you are allowed? Im waiting for my first appointment at the moment. X

@Hannah I know you’d want them to be perfect but would you rather them be slightly too big or slightly too small? Me personally I’d rather them be slightly too big, than too small, having paid all that money and posssibily having to pay all that again as well because I’d not gone big enough the first time.
You also have to take into account the fact that implants tend to look smaller when they’re inside you as opposed to trying the sizers on in a bra too. Whatever you decide though it needs to be your choice. If your op isnt until the end of the month then you’ve got plenty of time to see your surgeon again before it xx

@hannah just from reading lots of girls stories on here who have had partials/unders, they have all said that they look smaller. Definiteley go see him again though and try them on to compare, the surgeon is there to advise you but ultimately it’s your decision as to what you have. My surgeon is going to try and fit a 470cc in me and if it doesn’t fit in me I’m having 445cc. I’m not with Mya so I don’t know how the surgeons work on the day of surgery but my surgeon is going to have a couple sizes on the day to try fit in me xx

@lauraj1987 Haha I was so impatient for my first appointment as well, when is yours? Yes so the 2nd appointment you meet the surgeon and talk over sizes again and anything surgical. Then straight after seeing the surgeon I saw my PC again, she confirmed everything and at the point I could book my op date (although you can book it in your first appointment but the deposit is higher) xx

@katiep369 That’s so great that your surgeon will do that! Who are you going with if you don’t mind me asking? I feel my surgeon was a bit rushed on the day I saw him, so I didn’t have chance to really think about asking for bigger. xx

Girls I watched a YouTube vid and a girl in America Said she chose 325cc’s but was going under muscle so her surgeon advised her to go a little bigger to achieve same size as you lose a little volume going under the muscle so she had 350 cc’s and was really happy with the end result hope that helps!

My surgeon is lovely- Dr. Clarke, he took time to listen to what I wanted, listened to my concerns, looked at photos I’d showed him of how I expected them to look when they’re done. I feel like he really understands the look that I’m wanting with them. A few girls on here have said they felt a bit rushed when they’ve seen their surgeon xx

Ita not until the 17th! I did origionally ring mya, i had an appointment for the 10th in nottingham but she told me doncaster would be where i had surgery an im not far from doncaster so i googled the clinic that mya had told me about and rang them directly they said by bypassing mya you get surgery quicker anyway an its the same clinic i would of been using if i went with mya so just makes it easier for me with the appointments. I cant wait to get my date set i have wanted this for so many years but only just started looking properly as i have just had abit of money from my mum so thought id do it now while i have it. Never realised how bad it can be afterwards though im not looking forward to the recory with a very active 1 year old lol. Xx

Ladies I thought I would loose size because I was under the muscle and having a nipple lift. So I upped from 300-325cc

25cc is less than a tablespoon

My surgeon reckoned I would be a DD max and I ended up FF

I really think it’s a total myth tbh as unders drop and fluff a lot more than overs so ur final result can be extremely fuller than ur led to believe.

Having gone through it myself I think it’s nonsense tbh.

All surgeons cancel the op if the patient decides on the day to go against the agreed size. U usually get given a range which is agreed and ordered. Point is so the surgeon can try a few to see best fit.

But If u decide u want a size that wasn’t agreed it obviously won’t be on order so the op can’t go ahead.

This can be resolved by simply communicating with ur surgeon and clarifying everything at least a week min before ur op by having a consultation so they can be ordered. Its not like a supermarket where they have a warehouse of implants stocked in the back….

If you feel rushed during a consultation simply ask for another one or continue to ask the questions ur unsure of. I didn’t feel rushed at all with my surgeon although I felt the second consultation was a little more detailed because I went home and had specific questions relating to some things she had picked up on in my first consultation.

Tbh I reckon surgeons are so busy ans used to seeing lots of patients who are so unsure and who have not researched that they dont go into tons of detail becasue it may overwhelm them.

There are no limits to how many surgeons u can see or how many consultations u have with ur surgeon. Mine prob thought I was a research freak by the time I saw her on op day becasue I saw her three times pre op but equally she knew I understood the process and was fully aware of everything.

The forum has been a massive help but it is important to look at factual information and not just speculation. If ur unsure about something speak up, it’s ur money and ur body! If u don’t say something or ask questions ur only going to feel dissapointed or unhappy

I’m seeing him again tommorow told my PC I’m getting boob greed and worrying and she was like that’s fine come see him again so I am!
He will prob get sick of my face and be happy to see me on the table unconscious so I’m not going on. I’m currently getting 375 left 350r hp partials.
But going back to see him as want to aim for the 400 mark.
Think I was so overwhelmed seeing him first time I didn’t get to take it all in. So now I know what I want and got a idea with what I want to be and look like I’m going try 400 l and 375r xx

Yeah I’m going back to see him just so I’m 100% happy with my choice as I don’t want any doubts on the day. What happened at your appointment? x
