Self isolate for 14 days??

Hi,

Was just wondering if anyone that has recently had their surgery had to self isolate for 14 days? I’ve just been told this is what I’ll have to do (surgery is 19th aug).. I’m currently still furloughed but may be called back to work before my surgery (hoping not) and therefore could lose out on holidays, a lot of money that I can’t afford and getting my boobs done as I won’t have the holidays to get it done til after April next year. Feel so so stressed out I want to cry! xx

Hi! My operation is the same day as you! I‘m a bit confused about this to be honest, I’m going away for a few days the week before with my family to Devon. We won’t be in close contact with anyone else but obviously will be at the beach etc.. We will get tested for COVID at our pre op I am guessing?

My op is that day too, in Preston. I’ve been told to self isolate. Luckily that’s not much of an issue for me. I hope you work it out xx

Which surgeon have you both chosen and what type of implants etc? Xx

This sounds a bit weird but do you girls fancy setting up a WhatsApp group or something since we are surgery triples🤣
Yeah I’m just going to take precautions and not be close to people out of my bubble, it didn’t state that the people you live with need to isolate so it’s a bit confusing as they could bring it in via shopping etc, I’m not with MYA but I got told I get a COVID Swab 4 days before so even if I did get it they wouldn’t do it! Which is good as you know it’s going to be 100% safe for everyone just hope I don’t get it 😫 I definitely think you’ll be fine going to Devon just try and be as safe as possible and I’d imagine you’d get a swab as well so don’t worry xx

I’ve gone with Reza Nassab which isn’t MYA, and I’m still not sure on my implant type round/teardrop but I’ve chosen under the muscle high profile 300cc textured, what about you?

I would love a WhatsApp group would be a lovely little support network! How do we do it can we PM each other on here? Xx

I have chosen 350cc over the muscle. Round and high profile, textured. I’m so excited but nervous too, I guess that’s natural! Xx

Hey, my surgery is the 25th July (so soon!) and I have been told I have to self isolate for 14 days, so I’ve been isolating since the 11th x

I’m having the same issue, I’ve worked through the whole of lock down but I don’t want to book two weeks holiday before hand, I’ve emailed to ask if I can just book a week off so I’ll let you know what they say. My surgery is on the 12th august and I’m having 400cc but I don’t know if they’re going over or under the muscle?!

My appointment is the 14th August in Preston. I still haven’t had my face to face surgeon appointment yet? I’ve been chasing them daily about it and they keep saying head office are trying to sort it?
I’m a barber and my diary is really filling up like next week is all they can surely do before the cooling off period of 2 weeks? I’ve explained that I can’t just cancel a whole diary day of cuts at short notice and I’m getting nowhere. Has anyone else got a fade to face consultation booked?
