Serious nerves/second thoughts kicking in arghhh

10 days to go and feel sick with nerves today, I can’t stop thinking of all the what ifs…and I have a new worry – damage to my teeth during anaesthetic!!! Imagine waking up with boobs but no teeth I’d be devastated! I hope to god I’m doing. The right thing!

I’m worried about my teeth too, my top front tooth is dead so if it gets knocked it could easily become loose, I have a really bad feeling about it

I’m 5 days post op. don’t worry everything will be fine. I started with palpitations the day before and was worried my nerves would send my BP up and they wouldn’t do it. Then i was bricking the cannular going into my hand. It was all fine. I’d do it again, no problem. Don’t worry. They are professionals just tell them your worries, they understand.

Yeah when they insert the breathing tube there’s a chance u could loose/chip ya teeth 🙁 I have two vaneers so I’m worried about it where as it probably doesn’t enter most people’s heads! I know Rachael….wahhhh just want it over and done with now before I google any more horror story’s ha xxx

You won’t!! But if it’s worrying you ask if you can wear a mouth guard? Do you know when we get our admission times? Xx

I was like you so nervous before but on the day I was fine. It’s normal to feel like that. The staff are amazing your in good hands x

My two top, front teeth are false and I didn’t have a problem. I think it’s only if you have a loose filling you need to get it sorted before surgery xx

Did u tell them about it Siobhan!? I’ve forgot so far to mention mine are vaneered just hope there extra careful xx

Take slippers with you and magazines it’s a boring wait x

They asked me if I had any loose fillings or abscesses and I think I told them then but they didn’t say anything xx

I have my op on Tuesday and im scared too. Already had the second thoughts but it was too late to change my mind because i wouldn’t get my money back.

Don’t worry though. It will be fine and you’ll lok great im sure. As for the teeth, once when i had anaesthetic, i woke up and a few days later a chipped tooth at the back came out when i was eating!!
