Severe joggers Nipple

Hi ladies day 13 and wonders if anyone else has joggers nipple ? xx my nipples are still erect but they are so dry and sore the skin is now on the inside of my sports bra when I take it off . Tried changing bras no joy xx I have taken it off and put some bio oil on them and I’m leaving it off for a bit to let some air get to them anyone else had this ?

I’d personally recommend some breast feeding cream but I would check your ok to use it, it’s fab for cracked dry sore nipples xxx

I remember using it when I had my daughter when I was breast feeding xx

Hi Emma …I had some dry skin around the nipple area and did the same thing (took bra off for a few minutes). Phoned the clinic and they advised this too and said it’s okay to give some air or to let them breathe for a few minutes here and there. I used some palmers coco butter on them but will probably start using bio oil as I’m just over 2 weeks post op but only around the nipple area / on top of breast. Hopefully if you give them some air here and there and keep using bio oil it will stop the dried skin. Sorry to not be of much help but I do have similar issues with the nipple so I feel your pain!

You’re welcome 🙂 and you’re defo not …I’m sure there’s others too who probably have this but defo okay to take bra off for a bit as I’ve phoned the clinic to get advice for that and you can too if you get worried but hope it sorts out…bio oil does wonders 🙂

I’ve just been to asda bought some cracked nipple cream and breast pads xx I’m at the clinic tomorrow having my stitches trimmed so l will mention It when I go been in agony today xxx
