Sex

Although this may be a little more of a TMI question I need to ask as I haven’t seen anyone talk about it on here. I have my op next week and I was wondering all you post op girls when you felt comfortable having sex again? My partner and I have a very healthy sex life (every day at the moment) and it will be a little weird if it’s any longer than a week.. They recommend 6 weeks but I don’t think myself or him will cope haha. Any answers will be helpful.. I don’t mean to offend anyone haha 🙂 I was worried asking! Xx

I asked my pc the same question honey! and she said of course some people are more active than others she said leave it a week and then you can if you feel comfortable but she said nothing vigouris! So you on top probably would hurt! xxxx

Im not sure probably a question most people secretly want to ask maybe it would be ok if you didnt go mad?! Or squash them?! Im probably totally wrong lol

Thanks Ashleigh! I did ask my PC and she said 6 weeks. But obviously they have to say that for health & safety reasons and so they cover their own back. I know what you mean though haha. We’ll see how it goes haha! Thanks girls xx

I waited 10 days

I was told 2 weeks as its classed as exercise. (Lol) but whatever you’re comfortable with. I told my boyfriend we could maybe try after a few days but go gentle. Just have go see how you feel but don’t go bouncing around. Lol. X

Haha thanks girls! You’ve all been really helpful. I guess with a supportive bra you should be ok. I think waiting after strapping is off is wise. Xx

Yeah just take it easy! Gutted my surgery is day before Valentine’s hahaha so my boyfriend is going to be super unlucky this year :’) but I think if you just don’t have him lying on top of you and not too ott you should be ok xx

Spooning sex was fine for me 2 days post op but me on my back and him on his side my legs over him you know how it goes. Take it steady use your imagination!!!

Me and my boyfriend are exactly the same ..2 days for me I just propped myself up on my v pillow and let him do the work ☺️ Depends how much pain your in you’ll be fine there’s ways round it xx

I waited until me strapping was off and im not going to lie it was the worst sex ever I was so worried about my boobs lol luckily I came on not long after so could get away with not having sex just oral if you get what I mean lol 😉 Now sex is better than ever 7 weeks post op 🙂 xx

Sex is defo better down to my new confidence and more frequent now that I am happy parade around naked.
Apart from my daughters and getting married this the best thing I have ever done.

Haha really Jess?! I don’t have periods so can’t get away with saying that haha. I think I’ll be worried mostly about how they are and o just don’t want to do damage. Glad everything is good now though! I think I’ll need to make it up to my boyfriend for looking after me for the week haha xx
