SHARP BURNING STABBING PAIN????

Hi, I’m pod5 and today has been the worse day so far!!!!
I keep getting mostly on my right side sharp burning stabbing pains that actually make my eyes water every time I move my arm or if my body twitches!
Is anyone else experiencing this? It’s on the outside of my boob!
Really can’t handle the pain!!

I’ve literally just come on here to see if anyone else is experiencing a burning sensation! I’m on day11 now and I’ve got a burning feeling where the incisions were and loads of random pains in weird places! Someone else I’d spoken to did say they felt something like this around 2 weeks in but it’s such a weird feeling 🙁 xx

Hey Hun, I’ve been experiencing the same – haven’t taken any painkillers at all and was just thinking how easy it was all going and then the last 2 days I’ve had this searing pain come on at random times – so much that I couldn’t stand up straight, and was scared iof moving!! I’m pod5 too. Seems fairly common as i did some research today but was worried something was wrong as it is so painful even though it only lasts a second or so. Hope it doesn’t carry on too much longer xxx

I’m so scared to move cause I can’t bare the pain, glad someone else has it thought there was something wrong! Xx

@zewbee i’ve doubled up on codeine now! I’ve been fine since today too! My cuts are hurting to I’m scared to straighten up my back, feel like I’m going to pull them open!!
I hope it doesn’t carry on to!
Has anyone else moved about or been completely bed bounded?
I was starting to panic because I was walking about a lot yesterday so thought that I had done something xx

I also have it, I’m post op day 9 and I’ve got it mainly in one boob around the top but also on the outer sides of mine
I think they are called “zingers” I think it’s to do with nerves, they’ve been stretched and are now trying to regenerate, they are apparently a good sign that you’re healing

Glad it seems to be fairly normal! Horrible feeling though isn’t it 🙁 mine are very far apart ha. Literally no cleavage or anything in my Macom bra! I’m trying not to stress as I know it’s a long waiting game but it’s so hard! A few people today said I didn’t even look any different in my clothes :/ I’ll send a pik now xx

The sharp stinging pain is just your nerves and muscle repairing so try not to worry! I went through a couple of days where it was like really sharp stinging pins and needles and then random stabbing pains. It does go, but now my skin feels really sore and sensitive to touch I think because it’s been stretched xx

@nickliverpool123 yeah I have no cleavage what so ever it’s so depressing.. my boobs are more to the sides but wasn’t like this naturally! Hopefully everything will fall into place .

I’ve attached a photo this was 2 full days after my op! Just want them to drop, have a nice round shape and a cleavage feel like it’s going to take forever

Nick and Reagan they look great! I get my strapping off tomorrow and if mine look anywhere near as good as yours the pain will have been worth it xx will put up pics to show as soon as i can xx

Hi Regan, I had exactly what you’re describing on day 4. It was the worst day out of all my recovery for me and I was only taking paracetamol up to that day but day 4 I had to start taking Codeine and had ice packs on top of my boobs and felt like that helped once the pain settled with the tablets. It was all uphill from day 4 then for me though and I felt better and better everyday x
