I am 4 weeks post rhinotip and still have lots of stitches in my nose but yesterday a small piece of blood/crust came out and I think maybe some of the dissolvable stitch came out with it? But then a few hours later I got a really sharp shooting pain in my nose as if I was being pierced with a needle onto raw skin or something and now every time I move my mouth a certain way, talk, smile, eat etc and even breath sometimes I get this sharp pain it actually made me cry it hurts that much! Looking in the mirror up my nose I can see lots of stitches still so maybe they could be rubbing but it’s really painful and now all up my nostril is red raw! Has anybody experienced anything similar? I can’t ring the nurse as currently have laryngitis and have completely lost my voice so I’m hoping somebody here can help? I havnt had any pain at all so far so I’m just abit concerned in case it is an infection? I havn’t used any sprays or creams in my nose so I know it can’t be a reaction to anything I have put up there I have just been letting the small bits of blood/crust work their way out xx
