Should I or not.

I had my op 2 days ago (19/10/16) I can feel bruising and twinges sometimes but I concerned if the sports bra is not positioned properly. I shouldn’t remove the bra for one week until my app with the nurse. Would u recommend me just waiting it out and see what happens then?

Hi, I had mine on Monday and have changed my bra twice (got 2 for when one is in the wash. I would get a friend to make sure it’s supportive enough on the straps etc and leave it on until your appointment. I bet if you emailed your nurse a pic she would advise you xx

Thank you the nurse called me. She told me to keep it on until the appointment aslong as its not bleeding or liquid coming from the wounds. I think I’m just paranoid with the healing processes. It’s going to hurt isn’t it as its healing and the stitches dissolving. I can’t wait to take it off!!!

It is, your incision will be knitting together, often they feel worse before they get better. You’ll be fine. I keep checking my dressings throughout the day to make sure it looks clean. My bruising is pretty bad today but it does feel easier xx
