Hey girls! I have wanted to get a boob job for a long time now, I was certain that I would have one last year but my mom wanted me to wait until I was 20 and get them done this year! I was planning to book my surgery for march/early April, however we have recently unexpectedly sold our house and the family want to move in in two months time! This has caused a lot of stress for my parents because they are so worried about not finding a new house in time within these two months and I am worried that I will end up getting my surgery right in the middle of moving time!
My mom feels that I should wait, but I feel like I keep putting the surgery off and I just want to get it done now so that I can be fully recovered for the summer time!
Can anyone help me with this? xxxx

Hey hun firstly have u had a consultation yet with a pc or discussed options with surgeons? Some get booked up really quickly and depending on what you have done you may want to see ur surgeon s few times before the op. Plus ur preop with a nurse has to be at least 3-4wks before your op also you may need info from ur GP (Mya write to them for clearance depending on ur medical history)

Unders take at least two weeks to heal from as they’re more invasive and you are advised to have full rest during that time. If you’re very organised and not anxious by nature you may be ok. I didn’t quite understand if you live alone and your parents have moved in with you or as a whole family u guys are in between /moving altogether?

Either way you will not be able to help move anything around. You will be advised not to carry anything heavier than a laptop! You want to be really comfy and have best possible environment to sleep in and just lounge about in tbh. If you can get clearer info as to the time frame then I think it would help in ur decisions but understandably something like selling a house and moving in can take weeks or months.

You can always book for a few months in advance and that would at least bide you some time and ur family would understand it needs to be sorted by that point to aide your recovery. You defo do not want to be in a room/house with stuff unpacked or messy in for two weeks. Ur recovery is so key to ur final result fxx

Oh gosh just re read it. They want to move in within two months time and u guys wana have something by then.

Well if two months is ur limit at most for the time being I’d contact Mya asap and see about a consultation. If ur lucky u may get it done and recovered within that time. It’s pretty short notice but you never know! I’m sure ur allowed to have surgery at least 14-21 days after ur consultation with a surgeon but the balance must be paid up by then (either finance option or in full) plus ur preop with nurse and GP notes would all have to have had all clear.

Plus the first consultation you have is with a patient consultant not ur surgeon unless ur lucky and it’s a day when the surgeons are in to meet new clients you may be able to get in a slot and see the surgeon the pc reccomends to you.

Call them asap tomo hun I reckon and good luck fxx

Im with your mum – you have waited this long a few more weeks or months wont make any difference. If you have in may or early june your going to be fine for the summer. Your mum will prob need your help with the move, packing etc.. x You wil have plenty of time to decide exactly what you want too x
