Shower

Hi everyone,
I’m two weeks post op and I was wondering if I’m alright to have a full body shower? I’m pretty sure my nurse said I could after two weeks and I’ve rung mya but no answer/call back. I’m dying to shower!

Hi frankie I’ve had my dressings changed today 1 week and been told I can now have a full shower x

Hi Emma, do you have any plasters over your incisions? Mine aren’t covered just worrying a little but! Thanks for replying xx

Yes I have water proof dressings on at the moment I’m sure someone posted though the other day that they just had steri strips and was told to gently pat them dry xx

After 2 weeks should be fine I only waited for 1 week as my nurse said was fine to as long as pay your incisions dry afterwards x

My nurse told me I could have a full shower at 5 days post op and I had no dressings over my incisions x

I’m 8 days po and saw the nurse today she took All my strapping off and so now I have nothing in and was told I can have a shower today…oh my it felt so good

You shud be fine now as your dressings off. Just pat ur incisions dry after ur shower.
