Shower

Hi there when can I start having a shower again, my god I miss the shower so much(sado) lol xx

I got the ok from My nurse at My 1 week post op appointment xx

Haha I was wondering the same thing I am 4 days post op and I just feel gross. Only been able to use baby wipes x

After your one week nurse consultation as long as you’re healing well. Just have to be careful not to get body wash on your incisions xo

Everyone is different. I had to wait till day 18 to have a shower. But you can have a bath up to waist from day one just don’t wet incisions

I stood in the shower and just used the attachment on myself but not on boobs x

Up to now I’ve been using the hand attachment from the waist down.
Had my strapping off at day 8 but needed more steri strips on incisions, I’m allowed a shower from day 13 but nurse said not to get the incisions too wet and no shower gel or moisturiser on them.

Can’t wait for a proper shower! X

I had shallow baths from day 1 I’m a clean freak and it would of driven me insane not to wash!! I’ve been able to shower from day 6 when I had my dressings off, but I’m very cautious of getting my incisions wet as they still look very raw and I would hate to get an infection… But hopefully over the next couple of weeks it will get easier, I just can’t wait to have a nice deep relaxing bubble bath Ahhh 🙂
