Shower??

Hi girls I’m 14 days post op and just had my 2 week check. The nurse said I’m healing the quickest she’s seen and looks around 4-6 weeks post op! I asked about a shower and she said not to get them wet, plastic bags on them??? But this is revision surgery and 3 years ago I had a shower 1 week post op??
I had my one week post op with a different nurse last week and she said I’d definitely be able to shower after my 2 week because I’m healing so well! So one nurse is saying yes and one nurse is saying yes but cover them? I know all nurses are different but I just want a proper shower!!
Anyone else shower 2 weeks post op!? Xxx

I was told could shower the next day by my surgeon as waterproof glue but nurse said wait 7 days, so after 7 day check ive been showerin every day im day 18 now n shower sometimes twice a day ive been fine. I use hair dryer to dry incision area x

I had my 1 week review today she told me I can shower and with help wash my hair x

I saw mine today and she said 2 weeks, if there healed and no scabbing surely it won’t effect the scar? X

I saw mine 1wpo yesterday and was told I had to wait until 2 weeks but I am a rebel and did it anyway. I rolled kitchen roll along my underboob and taped it with surgical tape. I then folded a plastic bag and taped from under my boobs to my nipples. I then just tried to keep my breasts out of the direct line of water. It wasn’t easy but my dressings stayed dry and I washed my hair well enough myself.
