When were you told you were allowed to shower? I thought it was two weeks but my surgeon today said to wait three. I know all surgeons are different but I’m so desperate for a shower!! Sink washes are not doing it for me and I desperately need to fake tan haha

Oh god I hope it’s not 3! I have my 1 week app on Friday so I’m hoping then!

But I’ve had a uplift aswell so I’m thinking I won’t be so lucky 🙁

So grosssss haha especially now I’m at work and walking around. Wasn’t as bad when I was sat in the house all day not moving or seeing anyone. I’ve got loads of white patches on my arm where they pulled the stickers off after the operation and it ripped the old fake tan off so I have to wear long sleeves all the time because I look mental hah.

I was allowed to have shallow baths from four days post op, as long as you don’t get the dressings wet. I also had uplift and implants. X hope this helps, still can’t shower or wash hair though as I still have dressings ill be two weeks post op on Thursday. X

I had my 1wk post opp appointment yesterday and my surgeon asks for you not to shower or have full baths for 2 weeks. I had my sticky strapping off and my incisions cleaned and redressed but was told to carry on doing what I’m doing for a further week. And after every shower from then, steri-strips need to be applied afterwards, I think for a further few weeks. I’m so desperate for a proper shower, there’s only so many times I’m happy to baby wipe my top half lol. 6 days left until I’m allowed 🙁 x

Hi hun i’ve known most people to be able to shower 7-10 days. I had my 10 day post op with the nurse Monday hoping for them to give me the thumbs up to shower however she said I still have some more healing to do on my incisions so I have to go back Friday which will have then been 2weeks. I’m praying they say I can shower by then!

She said my scars are healing well but I suppose it’s better to be safe than sorry. I fake tanned last night and washed it off with a flannel at the sink this morning and it’s safe to say it didn’t go well hahaha.

Girls who are baby wiping/ sink washing, you can have a shallow bath. I bath twice a day and make sure the water goes just up to my belly button, honestly you’ll feel so much better! You feel like you can have a proper wash x
