Showering

Haya girls, I’ve prob read this post a thousand times but can’t remember, what stage do you get to have a normal shower again? Xxx

6 weeks I believe hun or when you’ve got the all clear that your scars are healed x

Oh I thought it was sooner than 6weeks I don’t think I’ll be seeing 6 weeks without a shower lol xxx

I had ‘bird baths’ for 2-3 weeks after surgery and was just really careful. I showered properly after that but was careful not to get loads of soap or water on my scars.. i think i showered properly at about 5 weeks x

I was told I could shower after 1 week just not to soak my incisions x

I was told after my week check I could shower as normal just don’t rub your scars or put any soap products directly on them. And pat them dry after X

A week too babe, make sure no products get anywhere near the incisions & pat dry I wash my hair normally still & shampoo runs over them, doesn’t sting at all & I obvs make sure it’s all off straight away, some things like that can’t be helped but it hasn’t effected anything at all xx

Oh that’s good to know couldn’t imagine going 6 weeks without getting a proper wash xxx

I was told at my week check up today I could shower as long as I didn’t soak then and rub then x
