showering, baths and washing hair!

how did everyone get on with washing themselves and their hair? i am 6 days post op and dying to wash my hair myself and be able to have a decent bath/shower!! this humid weather is not helping! xx

Hey chic, i washed my hair over the bath 5 days PO an was perfectly fine, just took my time with it xxx

I’ve had a shallow bath every day and used a flannel to wash anything above waist height which has proved successful I don’t feel as gross as I thought I would! I’ve also had someone wash my hair over the bath every other day since surgery and I did it myself on Friday and I was fine. Literally strapped towels round my chest so my scars were protected from water and stood up next to the bath and lolled my head over!

thanks ladies 🙂 i have been attempting shallow baths but cannot wait for a proper shower, saw on here some girls are showering a few days post op and i cannot work out how i could! haha will attempt the head over bath hair wash tonight ☺️ xx
