Showering help…

I am 2 weeks post op removed my plasters today so my scars are now bare. When can I shower and get them wet? When did everyone else wet there insitions? Xx

Hello, I could shower 2wpo once my nurse removed my dressings and gave the go ahead. She recommend I use a gentle body wash that wasn’t going to be harsh or irritable on my incisions.
It may sound silly but although I couldnt wait to shower I was actually a bit scared but it was absolutely fine 🙂
Remember to just pat dry, no rubbing.

I was able to shower 1wpo as my dressing was taken off & healing well xxx

Mine were hun and I showered exactly 7 days after… best shower ever x
