do your boobs go much smaller at 6weeks post op rather than the first week

They are swollen after surgery

some women on here have said to me that they seem.bigger at 6 weeks rather than two weeks i dont understand why after they have dropped and settled they’re bigger

Mine have grown so much since I first had them done. They were under my arms quite a bit at first and as they have moved round they have grown and filled out loads. They didn’t get much smaller when the swelling had gone down either to be honest x

thanks for your message good to know that.havent a clue what size i am now but dont ant them to go loads smaller.only had my ba yesterday so need to wait atleast 6 weeks to see final result but looking at alot of pictures and they look more filled after time.have you got pics would it be ok to add you x x

Yes hun sure. They will keep changing upto a year after. Mine are amazing but still not the finished product x

did you have a tiny leek of blood a day or two after because i have a little but dont hurt x x

I think once they drop they fill the cups of a bra more, they aren’t necessarily bigger, but they appear fuller and so seem bigger.
In theory you have your op and are swollen, the swelling goes down over a few weeks, even upto two or three months depending on your body and then that’s it. But, frankly some days you do feel and look bigger then other days. But when i use a tape measure i seem to be pretty stable and i’m 4 weeks po on Friday. If you have unders then when the muscles relax that’s really what they call fluffing isnt it? This is like when you cook a steak and you need to rest it 🙂 it’s just our boobs need a lot longer than a 10 minute rest 🙂

No hun I haven’t had anything like that, you should give your nurse a call. Some girls do get that but better to get advice x

haha yes alot longer than a steak.ok well very good advice i get of people on here it puts my mind at rest.your steph do look fuller now than just after op so i understand what you mean now but its a work in process cant wait for yhese weeks to pass.x x

Final results can take up to a year to be revealed, at six weeks your healed enough to warrant using under wired bras (which can push implants up into a higher position, or damage your incisions)
At six weeks you have almost dropped into the final place, and the tightness of the implant is usually settled down, giving you an idea of size and shape you will end up. I was still changing daily at month eight with my first op (granted they where looking worse not better, but it does show they can still change very late on)

I didn’t see any fresh blood on my plasters, but it doesn’t mean they didn’t bleed slightly without me noticing xx

think its from lastnight its not fresh so should be fine.im probably worry to much thanks though x x

Hiya mine are starting to drop a little more now day 17 post op right ones still bit swollen…

I had spotting at day 11 I think it was and this morning day 17 but I’m not healing as quickly as hoped. Xx I’d ring the helpline

thanks for your advice i called to speak to the nurse but she didnt call me back so i will call her first thing tomorrow.its only a little across the cut on right and a drip on the other but nothing major.its not painful and trying not to move much but so hard to do nothing all day x x

I’m sure it’s all ok, the nurse can reassure you, when’s your next check up? You may just need more steristrips on …. X

10 days away but i will ring her tomorrow and hopefully it’l be ok.only had op yesterday so hoping the blood was from lastnight.how’s your healing.you had a lift and fill didn’t you?x x
