As anyone else felt like this I feel cold and drained like I could faint quite worried I’m only taking antibiotics and paracetamol
Flu like symptoms and temperature can be symptoms of an infection but otherwise it’s not uncommon to feel under the weather after an operation, it’s a big trauma to the body. I only started feeling better a week ago
I’m only 3 days post op I see the nurse today she just kinda felt around ny strapping but didn’t look she said it felt ok this is the first time I felt like this I havnt had much sleep hoping it will pass x
Huey Hun, I was feeling really crappy and I had a right thick head all of the first week, mine was down to lack of sleep I think though cause it so god damn uncomfy trying to sleep upright!! This 2nd week since the pain has settled down I have just been having naps in daytime to catch up with lost sleep and feel better for it. Try and rst as much as possible, hope your feeling better soon bless x
Aww thank u I thought it could be wear I’m so tired ect I hate bed Times at the min your right it’s impossible To get comfy I have the stiffest neck and back I feel about 80 lol please tell me it gets better I think at this point it’s so hard and make you emotional xx
i felt like that! today i got a bit sick but i went away really quick! i stopped taking the antibiotics to test it and i think i might have been that. ill go back to them tomorrow and if the symptoms come back ill call the nurse.
It does Hun, when your soreness goes away a little more you can shuffle around more when your in bed to move when you get uncomfy. Just keep taking your pain meds to ease it off whilst your still in pain trust me it gets better!! I started feeling loads better 7 days post op? Have you tried a V pillow for sleeping? I found this helped me, but I know what you mean by stiff neck and upper back pain….I had this really bad to start with!! It’s a mixture of not sleeping very comfy and tolerating the new weight your carrying on your chest. This also gets better though bless ya Xx
I felt like that until I went back to work today, I reckon it’s because I’m just not used to taking it easy, got a bit of cabin fever I think, go for a walk, get done fresh air and try not to watch to much telly, drink lots of fluids and don’t stay in your pjs if poss xx
