Sick note?! Waitress

So like the idiot I am I’ve only just realised I need a sick note (op is on Monday!) do mya give us them? Or do I need to go to my gp because of course tomorrow is the weekend and my gp will be closed! Confused and panicking lol, please help with info! I’ve just emailed my pc but she is on leave this week so thought id ask on here as well!xx

Oh also it’s waitressing that I’m doing ATM, do you know how long the sick note would cover for? it can be heavy lifting and some things are kept really high up on shelves that I struggle to reach even now…x

Hi Hun, I’ve not heard of anyone getting a sick note- I thought you had to book time off work. I could be wrong! Good luck for Monday xx

Hi Hun I’ve seen on here mya have given some girls a sick note, just ask for one when you go in. I think you can get 2 weeks that’s what I was given (didn’t go with mya) xx

I was offered a sick note at my pre op however on the note it states something which informs them the surgery is out of choice so you may not get paid sick leave, I’m also a waitress and was recommended to take two weeks off due to having unders but i went back 7 days later and was fine x

you can self certify for a week hun then i’d go to doctors if you need any longer Xx
