Girls I had my op on Friday and cannot keep any food down, not sure if it’s still the anaesthetic or tablets but I’m getting worried. Has anyone else been like this? Xx
Hey chic, im 5 day PO an noticed the pain killers were making me feel so so sick, i could keep food down but i stopped taking the painkillers only after 1 day because i knew if i carried on i wouldnt be able to keep anything down!! The antibiotics are making me feel sickly but i only have 2 days left on those xxx
Call your hospital. I was like that on day 2 and my ps called and he said to stop all tablets and just take paracetamol if it’s sore. I was on antibiotics blood thinners ibruprofen and cocodomol. Now just the odd paracetamol. My advices is don’t stop taking things aside from pain meds until you’ve spoken to your surgeon
Thanks girls it’s so annoying because I wouldn’t even feel that bad if it wasn’t for the sickness. I’m going to take the antibiotics and paracetamol and see how I get on xx
It could either be antibiotics or pain killers. I’m allergic to penicillin and luckily I know which ones I’m allowed that don’t make me feel sick so I asked for them! They would be able to give you different ones if you ring and ask to speak to a nurse? Xxx
