Just got home from the hospital but my sickness has come back really bad, have been trying to eat because I’m starving but I fully can’t stomach it! Managed to eat some popcorn and thought I would be fine after being sick so much earlier! Anyone else suffer with sickness afterwards and did anything help get rid of it? I was given anti-sickness at the hospital but it hasn’t done a lot for me xxxx

Yeah I had this yesterday Hun it lasted right until I went to sleep unfortunately and only managed half a piece of toast and a tiny bit of chicken that was in a quarter triangle of my sandwich the whole day! Just had to keep taking tiny sips of water. eventually by the evening I was drinking a few more sips more regularly. Woke up in the night in pain and starving so ate 2 crackers I’d brought with me and then managed most of the hospital breakfast too a couple of hours later . My appetite is definitely back today and I’ve drank loads too … fingers crossed so far it’s all stayed down so should be short lived for you too! Feel for you though as it’s awful! Xx

    Hi Chloe

I was sick loads for 2 days after the op. I found the least amount of pain killers you can take and take your antibiotics before you eat. I found once I started to take the antibiotics before I ate I was not nauseous.

Also I tried some plain rice mixed with 2 eggs scrambled into it and this helped me also a bit like egg fried rice really.

Hope you feel better soon nothing worse

Sorry you’re feeling rubbish Hun. I also had sickness and unfortunately it didn’t wear off for me till the next day. Sorry, I know it’s not much help. Keep sipping your water and it’ll eventually subside xxx
