Anyone else getting waves of sickness? I tend to get it when I don’t take my tablets which is quite worrying as I’ve only got a few left now? On the plus side, tmi warning but I managed a toilet trip today too! Yay! xx

No sickness for me hun, just waves of sleepiness and been hungry loads the last few days. Its defo the painkillers that affect the toilet motions so try to reduce those if you can? I took 2 diclofenac the 1st day post op and was having trouble, but after that I’ve only take one diclofenac tablet per day and I’ve been fine, not bothered with the co-codamol at all. xx

@RachelH I got sickness on day 2 and 3 but since then nothing! but like karrin i’ve been starving later, but later on in the day! and the sleepiness just hits me like a brick wall around 5pm. I had pain killers this morning but nothing since, feeling fine without them. How many days post-op are you now? xx

In the past when I’ve had anaesthetic I’ve struggled terribly with sickness, and found that drinking lemon barley water helped. It’s very refreshing as it isn’t too sweet and it isn’t as bland as water. xx

Ill be 5 days post op tomorrow! The last time I had this was in the early stages of my pregnancy and hated it then too? Couldn’t finish my dinner due to it xx
