Sleeping

Has anyone got any tips for a comfy night sleep? I’m 6 days post op and have the worst back ache! I just want to curl up and sleep normally 🙁 how long does this last? Thanks in advance 🙂

Hey hun! I can now lay fully on back, have you tried this at all or does it hurt too much? Hated sleeping upright as wasn’t sleeping at all as so uncomfortable!

heyy i slept upright for a few days but i didnt like like it so i slept more or less fully flat on my back just a tiny tiny bit upright! but i started waking up on my side just over a week post opp lol 😐 xx

I’m 13 days post op and still get awful backache from sleeping and if I do too much so if anyone knows how or when it stops let us know xx

When I went for my one week check the nurse said I can lie flat on my back but not on my side until I’ve had my 6 week check but there are times when I wake up slightly on my side but that can’t be helped xxx

Thanks girls! I do lay flat now but it’s just soooo uncomfy! Only another 5 weeks I guess haha xxx

Hey hun, couldn’t agree more on the crap sleeping! I have the worst back ache right now. I’m laying flat on my bed and I’m in agony! No other position available so I’ve retreated to my phone at half 6 in the morning. Great! x

Wahhhh girls I’ve had that most awful night!!! Slept laying flat then woke up at 1am for two hours in agony with my back so then thought I’d have to get v pillow out again and couldn’t get comfortable so ditched that and went back to flat. Fed up of this one position and got severe back ache this morning. I don’t know how much longer I can sleep like this!???
