Hi girls, how are you finding sleeping after ba. I am on day 4 and I havnt really slept yet. My lower back is killing me from sitting up right! How many pillows have you had under you? and how upright do you have to be? Any tips would be appreciated as in need of a good kip ;)x

Hey Hun we all know how that feels!!! If I’m honest your unlikely to get and form of good sleep for another few days yet! Have you got v pillow? I had 5 pillows and my v pillow and managed to get maybe 2 hours before I’d wake up with lower back/bum hurting I’d have to get up out of bed which was the real killer and walk it off! Then go back to bed it will ease but I am 6 weeks po now and still wake up during night and have to change position I am lying in but I can go straight back to sleep as I’m not in pain! Are you taking any pain relief? Try using it just before your go to bed as that should give you 3&1/2 hours you will find over next few days that you will gain and keep gaining 20 mins or half an hour more sleep good luck Hun xx

First few nights are annoying to sleep comfortably. I found using a neck pillow worked a treat for me sleep so much better since using this aswel, make sure your lower back is supported enough and create a slight arch with pillows, enough support behind shoulders/neck and place neck pillow on top of pillow. Made such a difference hope this helps, you can get a neck pillow from pound land or asda beanie ones are the best as you can sink into them xxx
