Sleeping is so uncomfy!!!

Had my op yesterday but finding it impossible to sleep upright my boobs hurt still obvs and my back is in agony! Any tips on how to better go about this :/?? ..xx

Have you got a v shape pillow? If not invest in one straight away you can get them out of Argos. Put 2 pillows slightly tilted then the v on top, also put 2 pillows under your knees, most of us normally sleep on our sides so this give the same shape as being in an s shape but on our back, the v shape pillow will support your head and you can swap from side to side with it if you want to move a little. Final thing when I really couldn’t sleep I went out and bought some phenaghons, you can get it from chemist and its only an antihistamine, but knocks you out if you follow the instructions on the box, you can buy it from any chemist and it won’t harm you xxxxx

Its same here hun my back is in agony really is the v pillow isnt helping me I dnt think as I am struggling with my back 🙁

Try some pillows unders your knees aswell Hun, it’s not forever 🙁 x

Do the boobs really hurt your back cos they are heavy or is it hust the way you have to sleep at first thats causing pain? Im worried about this as my postures kind of bad already! Hope u both heal well xx

I no it sounds weird but I couldn’t sleep at all found it so uncomfy so I slept downstairs on the settee I found that really comfy so I slept on the settee for two weeks propped up it does get better xxx

Can’t sleep right now so hot n flushed and just want to curl up but can’t need a bigger bra I think! Ahhhh!!!! -.- pain killers I think so!

Omg tell me about it, just woke up in agony this morning need a better bra, it has been lyin on my stitches all night :(. I’m sure it will get better xx

Same here Lou :l! I need bigger !! Gonna go primark get a few today heard they are comfy!! Need to swap my m and a as too small 😀 lol I basically didn’t sleep ! Bum cheeks hurt so bad haha woke up at 7 and got week off!! Ahhhhh !!! But yay for boobs xx

Ok so it’s not just me then!! It’s so uncomfy but got to be done! Does anyone know how long we have to keep our bras on post op? I can’t remember what I was told! Like I said my bra is soo tight! Are we aloud to wack it off for an hour or so now and then orrrr?

I had to sleep propped up with 4 pillows on the sofa for the first 4 nights. I also took my codeine about an hour before I wanted to go to sleep as they made me drowsy. It’s not for long hun, I’m 3 weeks post op after uplift and implants and I’m sleeping on my side a lot now and actually able to cuddle up to my hubby which is what I missed the most, he wouldn’t come anywhere near me as he was scared of hurting me but now it’s fine although we”ve not been THAT close yet as I’m scared of jiggling too much haha! 😉
