sleeping question

had op tues was over night stay and sleeping was fine while i was in hospital cus the bed was set up high but now im home i keep sliding down and wake up sleeping how i normally do lol i cant help it anyone else had this prob x

Have you got a v pillow? I’ve got one if those with another big pillow propped behind and it seems to hold me in place ok xx

Same with me Becky I’m flat on my back when I wake up.

I’m 12 days PO and not even sure how long we should sleep upright? It was only through this forum that i heard about sleeping upright, nurse didnt mention at all??

Emma my nurse and surgeon didn’t either, my surgeon said its more for comfort. I have my v pillow quite low so I’m not completely up right. Xx

Yeah i’m not sat upright just raised up with V pillow.

I forgot to ask at my PO check about sleeping!

I made a nest out of pillows so I couldnt escape lol and randomly found that a neck pillow was a really good way of keeping me in place and on my back as I normally slept on my side/front. I think its just for the first week really as the nurse said i would be okay sleeping flat at my po check xx
