so I have seen everyone talking about sleeping sat upright, I was never told this? in fact I wasn’t told anything about how to sleep after the op? should I be concerned as I have been sleeping with quite a few pillows as I normally do but on my side as I cant sleep on my back at all , though sleeping on my side has been really painful as everytime I move I feel pulling on my wounds…:( I am a bit pissed that I wasn’t advised that I should spend the first week upright and on my back xxx

I am 10 days post op and had my post op with nurse today. I thought I would now be able to start sleeping on side again but she told me it was still to soon and preferably should sleep upright until I see surgeon again which is end of May?

I started sleeping on my back at 10dpo and on my side at about 16 DPO. I read on a site where surgeons reply to the questions that it’s ok to start sleeping on your back after a week and side after 2 but you shouldn’t sleep on your front for a month x

I think it has something to do with allowing the implant to settle in the pocket but don’t quote me on it lol

It’s wot ever way you feel comfy with but must girls just wanna sleep sat up but with that u wake up slid of your v pillow and back hurts which I found it u get a long big sausage pillow if you lie it a cross under both of knees this takes the pressure of your lower back and makes it more comfy and stops u sliding down off your v pillow x
