Sleeping upright

Whats the reason for sleeping propped up?
Im 3 days post op and finding it hard!!!

Swelling huni. And if you lay on your back or side apparently it stretches at your incisions x x

I keep slipping down!!! Lol!!!
Tonight i will sleep propped up! Lol
So uncomfrtable! Xxxx

I slept not completely up right just propped up and my nurse said that was fine:). After my stitches out I could sleep on my back. It’s too uncomfy to sleep on my side at the moment. Your know when it’s feels right xx

How can u sleep up right? Do you have a v pillow? X
