I’ve been falling asleep every night sitting up and keep waking up and have slipped down , not completely laying down but I’m worried this will ruin my results:( maybe I’m just worrying to much but is this okay?

Sleeping upright has been my worst problem. I’ve barely slept and my back is killing me. Like you, last night I must have been so tired I slid right down but then for the first time this morning my boobs hurt under my armpits. I’ve convinced myself they’ve slid upwards in the night! I don’t know how to stop doing something whilst asleep? I guess all you can do is make sure you’re upright as much as you can? Xx

I’ve found putting a pillow under my thighs/bum helps stopping me from sliding down, may help? Like prop your bum up with it xx

Maybe you’re sleeping too low even though you’re upright, try sleeping a bit higher or put a pillow under your bum so it will help stop you from sliding down x

I’ll try sitting higher – I did have a pillow under my lower back last night but my backs still sore. It’ll ease off… only another week to go ???? X

I was sleeping completely upright for a week because I couldn’t take the pain of when I was a bit lower having to get up from bed, I would get a burning sensation pain. When sitting and sleeping upright it really helped and I had no pain at all.

Now I am just over one week post op, I have no pain when getting up even when I am laying/sitting slightly lower. So it will get better within time, but just try to prevent yourself from being in pain and change how you’re sleeping/sitting for the time being by being a bit higher x
