hi, i have ,my op on friday, i have been reading on here about sleeping upright. i didnt even know about this nobody told me. Do i have to buy a special cushion? why do you have to sleep upright? has anyone slept on their back and been fine?
Hi Hun. I’ve been told to sleep at least 45 degree upright for at least 4 weeks, helps with swelling and shape so your implants can drop into the pockets properly. I’ve got a V pillow but you can just use normal pillows, just make sure you have loads to support your back as you can get back ache xxx
Hey hun I had to sleep upright for four weeks in total and my lifesavers were my v-pillow and my backrest both of which I bought from argos. The backrest was about 23 quid.
Hiya Zoe you need to sleep upright for a few weeks as the other girls say because the implant needs to drop and settle into the pocket but also because of the tightness and pressure on your chest from the implants and the preocedure again the girls are right v pillows neck pillows plenty pillows for your back I also bought an electric recliner chair to sleep downstairs as I knew I would struggle in bed and have been using this for the past 5 days will my v pillow neck pillow and around 7 pillows lol good luck on your op hun xx
