Hiya girls, i was 2 weeks post op Friday just gone. I have started smoking again, only lightly, maybe 2 or 3 a day. Any1 know the actual side effects of smoking again? if any…

I think it just prolongs your scars healing i dont think anything major x

It prolongs healing and thins your blood but I think by two weeks its not likely to cause any long term effects at this stage! xx

Arrgghh god..tell me about it !!
I don’t smoke much when im at home, so i was just a hermit for the 2 weeks before hand to reduce the temptation. But its the week after my op where i struggled the most, obv when you’ve got NOTHING to do and just have to sit around all day, its a bit of a struggle. I think the thought of potentially ruining the final results motivates u to stop though.
