Had my 6 week check today and got the okay to use bio oil.. Heard a bit about smoothing out scars does anyone know how to do this or know anymore info? Had an uplift so haven’t just got scars under the breast crease. Thanks girls x
I am only 3 weeks post op nearly but I am using bio oil on top of my breasts to avoid stretch marks. I know bio oil is good as I used it with my first BA but for some reason it always gives me spots! Lol x
Hey sweetie I had my uplift and implants 2013 soon as my scarring was scab over and falling off I was told how to smooths them by a cancer surgeon it’s easy to do this time with my nipple lift and imlants I was able to start to smoothing out them out on Week two
and this was one week after of smoothing out which was 3 weeks post op
Scarring can be quite lumpy and rised this is because of the scarr tissue under the skin this needs to be smooth out to to flatten it out and fade it away xx
@mush78 your scars look amazing there! I haven’t had scabs on mine for quite a few weeks now but haven’t started any smoothing out.. Your difference in one week is so impressive! How do you go about smoothing out is there a technique to it? Xx
Hey sweetie I use E45 cream with two fingers rub the cream in firmly in small circler movements along the scarring you will feel the scarr tissue under the skin so it’s them that your smoothing out as it will make lines flat n fade x do 15 mins night /day or as much as u can x
@mush78 just to make a mental note is it the cream that comes in a round pot? There are different types of e45, never paid much attention as I know it’s for eczema mainly.. Which is fine.
Any of the E45 are cream are fab I used the pot n tub cream it’s coz its thick n has lots of good stuff in it xx
@mush78 I have coco butter for stretch marks & scars and bio oil do you think they’ll be suitable instead? Right perfect thank you!! I shall keep you updated .. How long did you do it for until the scars have faded out? Xxx
And one will be good chick I did for months depends on how long you want to do it for xx
