So angry

Hey girls I’m really stressing out now went to my gp today and she hasn’t received my letter from mya about my surgery and told me it was out of we durastiction to tell them anything my op is in 10 days and there shut from Monday so I’m panicking !! Been trying to get hold of my pc for a week no reply so have been speaking to a pc called nadia who’s trying to sort it out !!! I’m freeking out that my gp surgery is going to ruin this for me now and there being totally rude and difficult !! Xxx

They gave letter after surgery, to post my GP….. i was in impression that they going to inform them…xx

your gp doesn’t have to know pre-op unless you have a health condition, I told my gp a month post op x

According to mya they must have this letter back and signed from my gp or they will not proceed with surgery !!:( I’m going down there first thing Monday and going to demand they sign it right there so I can fax it back that day I don’t have any medical conditions or on any type of medication it’s ridiculous that all I need is one signature and if I don’t get it in time I’m screwed for having my op :(:(

I wouldn’t worry about it Hun… My doctors letter wasn’t received either and the clinic was fine with it! Stop stressing plus I had a lot of medical history! X

My operation was suddenly brought forward due to a cancellation with very little notice so don’t think they have even written to my GP yet, I would try not to worry about it babe, you’ll be fine 🙂 x

I hope so thanks girls they were really adamant that they won’t proceed with it if they haven’t got it:( I don’t understand why they need it considering I have no health problems or on any meds !! Xxx

They didn’t send a letter to my gp… They gave me a letter to give to my gp after the surgery was complete!! Have you asked why they are saying they need to send a letter to your gp? X

My GP wanted to charge me £40 to send MYA the letter. I never paid them and still had my surgery so don’t think it’s too much of a problem! X

I don’t know how mya work because I didn’t have my surgery with them but if your doctor already knows that your having surgery you could go in first thing and ask for someone to sign it by lunchtime when you’ll come back and get it, a signature doesn’t take a minute, or make a g appointment and ask him to sign it there then. double check with a mya nurse not pc, its not normally a must, they just have to know at some point to update your medical records. x
