so annoyed!!

It’s 3 day’s before my op and they email me to tell me I have to pay another 200 pounds for document fees with regards to my finance!! At my consultation I was told that the price I paid covered everything (within reason) and there was nothing left to pay other than my monthly instalments! I feel really disappointed with MYA atm!
Did anyone else have to pay this if so when were you told? xx

The finance company (121 finance) told me this when they rang me to confirm my finance over the phone and just said the documentation fee would mean that my first monthly payment would be £200 more.. It was on the documents that they emailed to me as well, the finance company should have told you, they have a legal responsibility when you sign the contract to tell you what you are agreeing to, it’s terrible if they didn’t. I agree it would’ve been nice to be told in your consultation, I can’t remember if I was told or not but I wouldn’t be too harsh on MYA because it’s really the finance companies fault that you pay the monthly instalments to! I’d give them a call just to make sure yours is like mine (first monthly payment higher). Good luck with your op! xx

I didn’t get told this till I went n paid 3/4 of the balance off :/

you should ring the finance company as they usually put it on your first instalment xxx

its written on the finance form in the small print, i made sure i read everything thats why i didnt take finance out in the end, i stuck the remainder on a credit card for 0% finance for 15 month, but they still charged me £30 for credit card fees for paying with credit card lol but alot better than £200. xx

I was told about the fee at the very first appointment with mya and like the girls said my first monthly instalment was about 200 more, annoying you were not told xx

Yer this happened to me!
N I’m Duin Mya 0% finance.
I woz like bloody hell ill do my own paperwork. It don’t cost 200 for bloody admin

That’s my point what admin could possibly be 200??
