So anxious about surgery. Anyone else been offered anti-anxiety meds?

I’ve always been an anxious person & know I’ll be a wreck on my surgery day.

I’ve been offered meds on the day to chill me out before I have my BA.

Anyone else been offered/received this?

I had some of my own so j took them and told anaesthist – just make sure if you take anything you tell him

I was so nervous it was all like a dream lol

Thanks for your advice Christine. I will make sure I discuss the offer before the day to make sure I get something that is ok with the anasthetic. Are you glad you went through with it?

Don’t be nervous ive just had mine done today what a walk in the park honestly u will be fine xx
