Girls please tell me I’m not the only one.
I’m so upset I can’t sleep, in so much pain and it’s my back and neck more than my boobs atm.?
How the he’ll do you get comfy to sleep? V pillow Is not working. I’d have a tantrum if I could pick the pillows up to throw them. ??

i was exactly the same! had like 4 pillows and v pillow and just couldn’t get comfy and my back was killing so much it was burning! i ended up getting the sofa cushion (you know the back part, the big square cushion) i put that up on a slant then all my pillows on top and it worked a treat! xx

I was the same Hun, I literally had about 10 pillows and a v pillow all around me, it was my bum that hurt more and I just couldn’t sleep for about two weeks then I think exhaustion took over, I’m used to it now tho x x x

In the beginning I found it really difficult to get any sleep , woke up several times during the night due to cramps in my legs and my bum hurting . Found my self getting up and walking around my bedroom for 5mins to get rid of the discomfort . I’m 4weeks post op and Franky I’ve got use to sleeping up right … But don’t get me wrong , I can’t wait until I’m 6weeks PO , so that I can sleep on my side and flat on my back ..,….

I felt the same by like day 5 post op I woke up at ten times a night and by five in the morning I was just crying where I was so fed up of the backache I couldn’t get comfy, so I just started lying back to normal on my back. My nurse said if it’s comfy for me to lie flat then just do it xxx

I think in a previous post I said the same thing as you Kristten , getting my boobs done wasn’t too much of a pain , but having to sleep sitting up is definitely worse!!!! I think for the first couple of days after my op I felt like crying too , just thought it was going to be a nightmare trying to sleep at night… It’s being very difficult …. Some times nearly impossible, but I’ve stuck with it for 4weeks , I’m sure I can stick with it for 2 more weeks.

I am the same. Neck, back and bum are killing. Lack of sleep making me miserable.
I’ve been sleeping on my sofa as its L shaped so I can support my back and one side. I have several cushions under my bum. Some times its comfortable and other times i wake 10 times a night.

I’m 2 weeks post op. It does get easier day by day. Stay positive and keep active during the day. Make sure you stretch your legs regularly.

I bought a memory foam travel pillow thing, you know the ones that go round your neck, from Matalan but I think I’ve seen them in primark too. It’s made my life so much better! I found my back was hurting more from supporting my head and trying to sleep than actually sitting upright and trying to sleep. (I don’t have a huge head or anything haha!)

So now I’ve got about 4 pillows plus my v pillow to prop me up and then use my travel pillow round my neck to rest my head on. Soooooo much better! Although it’s like 2.30am and I’m wide awake for some reason! But it has been working before tonight!! Just make sure you get a firm memory foam one rather than the soft one filled with the bean bag beans or air because they don’t give you any support at all. Happy sleeping! Xxx
