just had my 1 week post op appointment and have had all my plasters taking off just have strip of tape over the incisions now… nurse has said my incisions are healing perfect there soft/no oozing and my breast are soft already. 1 more week to have these taking off then I can finally have a shower haha! X
That’s great! The first full shower is the best. I wish someone had warned me about the strapping removal being like getting a wax with industrial adhesive though.

Yay and how are they looking? My inceisions healed really well I could shower after the first week but mine were stilll rock hard. I can’t beleieve yours are soft already must be recovering really well!! I think it’s the bras you choose, they look good and obviosuly offer the right support x
Ouch Laura I can’t imagine that! I didn’t have strapping I just had plasters even then I was scared but It wasn’t bad in the end thank god! Xx
Kelsey, now I’ve had the plasters off I can get a better view of the whole boob but I don’t like them as much because now I can see the line of where my boob sat so I’m hoping the right boob will drop quickly and fill it out haha!! But just took a few different pics and they look big haha! Every other day I’m hating and loving them it’s stressing me out lol xxx
The nurse explained that they fall into ‘the’ space in time. It’s a long old road, but exciting.
I don’t know how much time I’ve spent in recent months looking at boobs. Should I be worried?!
That’s good because I can’t see where my old little boob use to sag haha. How far post op are you now Laura and what size did you go for X
Had my op on Dec 20th. I hand 250cc unders, which have taken me from post breastfeeding nipples to hopefully a C cup. To be honest, I’ll make me peace with whatever end up with as the before was tragic. I literally had nothing there.
That’s really good! I bet your so happy, how has recovery been like for you with a child too x
I have two children, both of which elbowed me in the boob in the first few days by accident. I cried. They cried. It’s actually funny to think about it now. Can’t pick them up, but at 6 and 2 they don’t need to be. The only time I felt selfish was when they had to wash their own hair. The husband has been super helpful x
Aw that’s so sweet, it will all be worth it in the end as they’ll have a very happy mummy! Glad you’ve got your hubby there to help out, I don’t know what I would’ve done on my own the first few day I did play on it abit lol had my fiancΓ© making me lots of teas though I was so able. I just didn’t want to get out of bed lol xx
All went well had my one week check up today too same surgeon as Nikita π stitches sight nearly all healed already and drain sight still some swelling but will go down as they drop into more natural position π they took out a random stitch the surgeon puts in as well as the dissolvable one so all set now for tape off in a week π
Eek glad it went well Jules! Have you still got dissolvable stitches in and the thin tape? Also did you get to see the surgeon or was it just a nurse appointment π X
Only problem is this tape is really really itchy ummmm what do you do if your allergic to the tape :/ only had it on 20 mins
Call the nurse asap, see if you can change it for a tape which she could recommend for you to get xx
I agree with Nikitta. They are best placed to give you good advice.
Took some piriton and it’s ok now so will see how it goes x
