So much pain :(

Just got home from my op, in so much pain and still feel so tired and drowsy.. Is that normal? I woke up about 3 hours ago Xx

Very normal hun dont stress.. i was in agony 30 mins after surgery it was intense burning and stinging i could barely breath because of it but im glad it happened then because i got them to give me tramadol 1st by injection then prescribed tablets to take home i was up and about within 30 mins of having it.. the first few days i slept a lot.. it will get easier keep ur meds topped up and make urself as comfy as poss.. lots of cushions and a duvet folded in half under u will help also ice will help u a lot xx

Thank you Amanda! I was up and out the clinic within an hour of waking up. Down in theatre for 1hr 50 mins! Is that a normal time to be in surgery for? Thought it was a little long! How many weeks/days post op are you? Hope you’re feeling much better now xxx

That is longer than normal hun did u ask why?.. my op took around 45 mins.. but u do spend some time after in recovery i spent 20 mins there.. im 6 weeks po feel fine now hun.. hope u feel better soon it wont be long and it is worth it 🙂 chin up babe xx

No I never asked :/ I was told at my consultation it would only take 45 mins.. I will have to ask them why when I go for my post op check! Ah thanks Amanda and Glad to hear you are all recovered! Xxx

Yea i would deffo ask hun and 45 minutes is right mine was pretty much bang on i only know because my surgeon went and sat with my husband straight after until i was brought back.. and thanks huni xx
